Ingredients
  

Banana Bites
  • 2 large ripe bananas sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips optional, for drizzling
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts optional, for topping

Method
 

Prepare the Banana Bites
  1. Slice the bananas into 1/2 inch thick rounds and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the peanut butter and mix until smooth.
  3. Dip each banana slice into the peanut butter, ensuring it's well coated.
  4. Place the coated banana slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Freeze and Serve
  1. If using, drizzle melted dark chocolate over the banana bites and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  2. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 1 hour or until the banana bites are frozen.
  3. Once frozen, transfer the banana bites to an airtight container and store in the freezer.
  4. Serve frozen as a healthy snack or dessert.
