  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients and whole milk until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Once cooled slightly, poke holes in the cake using a fork. Combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and vanilla; pour over the cake to soak.
  7. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spread over the top before serving.
