Ingredients
  

Bagel Dough
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Plain, non-fat or low-fat
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour and baking powder
  • 1 large egg Beaten, for egg wash
  • 1 tbsp honey Optional, for sweetness
  • 1 tsp salt
Toppings
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds For topping
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds For topping

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.
Shape the Bagels
  1. Divide the dough into four equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel by forming a ring.
  2. Place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Add Toppings and Bake
  1. Brush the tops of the bagels with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame and poppy seeds.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
