Ingredients
  

Waffle Batter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk can substitute with almond milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter or vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Toppings
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup for serving
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
  • 1/4 cup whipped cream optional

Method
 

Prepare the Batter
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Cook the Waffles
  1. Preheat the mini waffle maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Pour a small amount of batter into the preheated waffle maker and close the lid.
  3. Cook for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
Serve
  1. Serve the mini waffle bites warm with maple syrup, fresh berries, and whipped cream if desired.
