Bagel Base
  • 4 pieces Whole Wheat Bagels
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese Low-fat for a healthier option
  • 1 cup Egg Whites About 8 egg whites
  • 1 cup Spinach Fresh, chopped
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Cheddar or your choice
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil For greasing
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper To taste

Method
 

Prepare the Bagels
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg whites, spinach, and shredded cheese.
  3. Season the mixture with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Slice the bagels in half and place them on a baking sheet.
Assemble and Bake
  1. Spoon the protein mixture onto each bagel half evenly.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the assembled bagels.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
