  • 4 cups Powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cups Heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla extract
Decoration Ingredients
  • 1 cup Food coloring optional for decoration
  • 1 pack Graduation cap toppers for decoration
  • 1 pack Edible glitter optional

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, softened butter, milk, eggs, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into prepared cake pans.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Let the cakes cool completely.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine softened butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract to make frosting.
  7. Frost the cooled cakes with the buttercream frosting.
  8. Decorate with food coloring, graduation cap toppers, and edible glitter as desired.
