Ingredients
  

BBQ Chicken
  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce your favorite brand
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil for grilling
Coleslaw
  • 4 cups Green Cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots shredded
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise for dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Sandwich Assembly
  • 4 pieces Burger Buns toasted
  • 1 cup Pickles sliced, optional

Method
 

Prepare the Chicken
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
Make the Coleslaw
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour over the cabbage mixture and toss to combine.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on the bottom half of each toasted burger bun.
  2. Top with a generous amount of coleslaw and pickles, if desired. Place the top half of the bun on the sandwich and serve.

Notes
